Stepping Stone Falls

The Stepping Stone Falls connected the Flint River to the Mott Lake.

The falls project featured customized forms for all elements of the falls.  The brutalist architecture is a common hallmark of the time period in which it was designed.  The falls were constructed in phases.  The side wings and other areas not impacting waterflow were in the earliest phase followed by the falls in front of the existing dam and concluding with the falls in front of the center falls. There were no injuries or incidents during the construction of the falls.
